Latest Sports Centres Managed by ALM Active Leisure ManagementThe rugby development centre was funded by the Big Lottery Fund, Bristol City Council and the Rugby Football Union (RFU). It is now operated by Active Leisure Management (ALM) on behalf of Bristol City Council. Facilities available: Rugby 3G crumb pitch with floodlights or 5x5 football, changing rooms and showering facilities, conference and meeting room hire, multi-function rooms, kitchen and catering facilities and a large car park with 100 spaces. Activities on offer: Rugby, 5x5 football, Children's soccer skills, Children's hoilday activity programmes. This international standard gymnastics centre offers a fantastic opportunity to those living in the Bristol area and surrounding areas - with some traveling up to 40 miles to train. City of Bristol Gymnastics Centre is situated at Hartcliffe Engineering Community College and offers a gymnastics training area including full competition apparatus, landing pit, sprung floor area, trampolines, dance studio and changing facilities. The Minver Crescent Sports Centre is a purpose built centre, which has been erected on the site of the old William Crane School, and is part of an initiative to redevelop the education facilities at the Minver Crescent complex. The Sports Centre is exclusively available for the use of Ambleside Primary School during term time from 9am - 3pm Monday to Fridays. In the evenings and at weekends the Sports Development Team take over the running of the centre, it's sports hall and fitness suite. The opening hours are 3pm to 9pm Monday to Friday then 9am til 4pm Saturdays and Sundays. There is a well equipped Fitness Suite offering 20 work stations, Membership can be either weekly or monthly and discounts apply. Just ask at the reception for details. There are showers, changing facilities and secure lockers for members use.
