Portway Rugby Development CentrePortway Rugby Development Centre is situated just off the Portway, next to Manor Farm Football Club in Bristol. The centre has a 3G Crumb Astroturf with Floodlights, so whether you are playing a game of rugby or 5-a-side football, you are sure to appreciate the high standard of the astroturf on our pitches. This area is floodlit to also allow for games after dark.

Directions:• Please note that Portway Rugby Development Centre shares a driveway with Manor Farm Football Club.• From Bristol you need to be travelling towards Avonmouth along the A4 Portway to be able to turn left into the shared entrance, 200 metres after the turning for Hadrian Close. There is a bus stop and a small lay-by just before the turn off. • If you are heading towards Bristol on the A4 Portway after the Sylvan Way traffic lights you will pass the centre on the right hand side. You need to take the second left onto Roman Way, then left onto Branscombe Road, another left onto Avon Way and left again onto Sea Mills Lane. As you pass under the bridge the road bends to the left and at the top joins the A4 Portway. Turn left onto the A4 Portway and our shared entrance is on the left approximately 200m. • The Avonmouth Park and Ride Bus (number 902) has stops both sides of the A4 Portway outside the entrance to the centre. Bus information:• Bus routes: X41, 57 and 902.• For further details contact Traveline on: 0871 200 22 33 or visit the Traveline website at www.traveline.info. Train information:• The centre is just a 5-10 minute walk from Sea Mills Train Station. Exit the station and join Sea Mills Lane. As you approach the viaduct take a right turn and head up the hill. When you reach the top turn left and walk along the A4 Portway for approximately 200 metres. The entrance to the centre is on the left.• Train timetables can be found at the following web address www.severnbeachline.org Returning to Bristol:• Take a left turn out of our entrance onto the A4 Portway when possible move to the right hand lane and turn right at the traffic lights onto Sylvan Way. Approximately 100yards take the first right turn onto Woodleaze and when you reach a mini roundabout go straight across onto Riverleaze. This road joins the A4 Portway where you need to turn left to head into Bristol. |
